sound workshop (Blade runner)
My sound workshop from back with Ged. the video is stripped of its audio and i had to put in my own sounds where i found appropriate. it might not play exactly like the original but it should do fine.
My worst day ever Anti narrative animation
Aaand here is my anti-narrative animation which basically is just straight to the point, i tried to make it as funny as possible
narrative my worst day ever Animatic&Animation
Finally done with my narrative Animatic/animation took a while but i eventually fixed up something together, i hope the three turning points are made obvious in this film :(
Just for reference, the first turning point is him missing the train which sets in motion all the other mishaps he encounters, next is him getting a text saying he's fired and the last one is him getting knocked out by a barrel to the head. i did all the sounds on pro tools and the i decided to do a pixelation because i wanted to use some cheesy music at the ending and i thought pixelation would be best suited for that.
oh and you may notice a few of the frames are not the same as the others, that's because they got corrupt and i couldn't save them so the only way to include them was a jpeg which drastically reduces the quality.

Influences (personal development)
OK so I've never really made a post to talk about the stuff that influences my art/animation style. well today i think i'll do just that. Unlike most other artists, i'm not as self-initiative as i should be, i mean that in a sense that i do not necessarily come up with my own original ideas all the time. Sometimes i do and the rest i'm usually basing my art/Film off something I've seen before, i used to argue with myself that it's not really stealing or copying but to be honest i feel anything that you didn't make up in your own mind on your own is sort of copying, that argument is subjective so believe what you want. Either way, let me show you guys some of the thing's I've seen that have influenced my style and show you some new stuff i plan on doing.
The video above is a sand animation from a world renowned Ukrainian animator named "Kseniya simonova" if you haven't watched the video yet, no problem just here me out first. Her style is very captivating and this one actually managed to stir up emotions in me, its not so much as she's able to effectively capture emotion with sand but how quickly and effortlessly she does it that strikes me. when i first heard of sand animation, i thought that was a messy job and didn't really want to get involved in all that stuff but after a reference from my module tutor rozi, i went ahead and looked her up and my attitude changed immediately. sand animation is definitely one for the future, hopefully i get to do some this summer.
OK moving on, here's another thing that affects my animation style with regards to character concept.

No i didn't just look up random pictures if that's what you are thinking, i chose them because they each represent to a certain degree how i like to create my characters for my animations. i like the stick man approach a lot because it gives me more time to do other stuff and its easier to animate, you might see it as lazy, i see it as saving time. At the same time i also try to give a sense of realism to stuff i do and sometimes they end up looking very south park-like in nature, that's just how it is with me but most times the characters are created on the spot and only after do i realize what i was thinking in my mind while sketching them out.
Also i like hyper realism art which is very pleasing to the eye as well as digital arts, here are a few which you can find on instagram if you search "art_collective_mag"

these are the type of artworks that inspire me artistically, here is a piece i did yesterday as well

so hopefully i may have given you guys an insight as to the kind of stuff i'm into and what sort of influences my art/animation style. i will leave you guys with this amazing time lapse video i just saw recently and hope you guys like it, till later then. Peace

More charcoal Drawings
I've gone and done a few more charcoal drawings. The one above is a Jesus piece a friend asked me to make
This one was more self initiated. I did borrow a reference but it didn't really matter. I never used to like charcoal because of how it stained my hands but since I came on this drawing module, I've changed my mind and realized how good charcoal is at creating nice textures
